Interview: James Carlson
On July 5th, 2008 we interviewed James Carlson, the director of Bucketworks in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Talking to James gives a fascinating look into someone who has the desire and drive to do amazing things, not just for themself, but for the community.

Shooting Bucketworks
On Saturday June 21st, 2008 I plan to shoot some video at Bucketworks, part of it will be for the documentary I am producing on the balance of work, and part will be for future Bucketworks-related stuff.
So if you're there, we'd love to talk to you, and get your take on what Bucketworks is, and should be.
Thanks!

MilwaukeeDevHouse1 Video
MilwaukeeDevHouse1 took place Friday, March 14th, 2008 at Bucketworks in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

MilwaukeeDevHouse1 is tonight!
MilwaukeeDevHouse aims to be the premier regularly scheduled hackathon event that combines serious and not-so-serious productivity with a fun and exciting party atmosphere.... and it's happening at Bucketworks tonight, March 14, 2008.
Also, TMJ4 will be there filming a segment on Bucketworks for the 10PM news.
A few people have asked what exactly a DevHouse is... Our best description so far is: It's an event intended for passionate and creative technical people that want to have some fun, learn new things, and meet new people.
If you're creating media at the event, please use the tag "MilwaukeeDevHouse" for the concept, "MilwaukeeDevHouse1" for this specific event, and "Bucketworks" for the location.

MilwaukeeDevHouse, FTW?
I gave a presentation at Web414 last night about MilwaukeeDevHouse.
Because I am FAIL! at using office suites, I did the presentation in S5, and it's called MilwaukeeDevHouse, FTW?
MilwaukeeDevHouse1 will be taking place Friday, March 14th, 2008 at Bucketworks in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Get there around 7PM, stay until you fall over.

Web414 Meeting - February 21st, 2008
Just a reminder that Web414 will have it's meeting at Bucketworks tonight - February 21st, 2008 at 7PM. This will be our first official meeting at Bucketworks, so we'll see how it goes. :)
Full details are here: http://web414.com/node/169

RPM Challenge
A great creativity exercise for musicians, or musician wanna-bes. The RPM Challenge: record an entire album's worth of songs in one month:
I'll be doing it. Mainly at home, and in the studio where I work, but it would be cool to have people jam and collaborate at Bucketworks too.

Greetings Bucketworks!
How goes it Bucketworks people? I've worked with Bucketworks in the past on BarCamp events, and hope to make it one of the premier places for passionate tech people in the area to gather and get things done.
We'll be looking at Bucketworks for future *Camp events, and as a possible meeting location for Web414 and for MilwaukeeDevHouse.
