Issue 21 | August 08 | Volunteerism is Sexy

Last week Milwaukee was voted Sexiest City by Marie Claire magazine. As you can tell from the most recent blog by our Executive Director, this was our plan all along. We're sneaky like that.

One thing we're not being sneaky about is the Physical Wiki Weekend. And as the title suggests, volunteerism is sexy. No, really. We need volunteers. Some very sexy people volunteered for Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. Tim Cigelski, proprietor of Teecycle.org volunteered in Granada - and I think his wife will attest he's pretty sexy. So far 22 very sexy people have generously volunteered their time to help us but we definitely need more. While we've cleverly broken it down into 3-hour hunks of time, if you're only available from, say, 11:00am - 2:00pm or want to volunteer all day or all weekend, or even an entirely different day- please let me know! I'll be happy to schedule you whenever you are available. So if you're available please send an email to jenn@bucketworks.org.
